DIRECTOR
Nafees Khundker has worked in Banking & Finance industry for more than 20 years specializing in Corporate & Investment Banking and Transaction Banking, with Deutsche Bank and Standard Chartered. His last role in Banking was as Managing Director & the Head of Commercial Banking Sales for ASEAN with Standard Chartered based out of Singapore.
His finance related expertise is in dealing with large Corporates and Financial Institutions clients (Asia Pacific and Middle East), working on Corporate Finance, Transaction Banking and Financial Markets products. He has also worked on strategic partnerships with financial institutions clients for white labeling of cash management and FX platforms. He has built businesses in the region, which include building teams, systems, risk management and processes.
Nafees has investments and board oversight in various companies in retail, distribution, finance and Information Technology. He has invested in and turned around quite a few businesses in technology, retail, automobiles and distribution sectors. Nafees has a special interest in sustainability initiatives and works with small nonprofit organizations. He is an avid sportsperson with particular interest in tennis, golf and cricket.
